How It's DoneQ: How do you make these/What program do you use?!
A: I use Adobe Photoshop to make the comics, although you can use Paint or any similar program. I prefer Photoshop because I can open multiple .png files at one time in the same window which makes copying and pasting all the sprites MUCH faster. I also prefer the filters (effects) that are available with the program. In order to put the words on the page, I use Bitmap Font Writer 1.3. It uses the letters (that I pasted into a .bmp file after ripping them from the game individually) and creates an image I can copy and paste into the comic, then cut the letters out of the white background.
Q: How long does it take you to make a single comic?
A: On average, from start to finish a single comic can take me about 2 days (or roughly about 5 hours) to make. I make each frame individually and then copy and paste that onto the larger background image. I usually span this over a couple of days, but in some cases I do it all in one day if the time permits.
Q: Where do you get all your sprites?!
A: I got the sprites of the used in PSSM:AS from [link] and I got the maps I use from [link] which has a .zip file near the bottom with almost all maps from the game.
